Georgia-Pacific, LLC is now hiring a Reliability Manager for our Huntsville, AL Corrugated facility. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven individual with a passion for excellence in Safety, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing, and Customer Focus. The Reliability Manager is a key leader for the corrugated facility, responsible for improving the corrugated facility’s manufacturing performance through machine availability via improved equipment reliability. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with complex operations while working collaboratively with all levels of the organization to drive vision, strategy and execution while advancing our Principle Based Management culture. We manufacture standard corrugated containers providing cost-effective corrugated solutions for virtually any product. What You Will Do Apply reliability engineering and systems‑thinking principles to develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, evaluating manufacturing assets and processes as interconnected systems across the full value chain. Perform engineering analysis of equipment performance and maintenance data, including reliability metrics, failure trends, and asset health indicators, to support data‑driven decisions that improve machine availability and operational efficiency. Lead technical problem solving for complex reliability and operational issues by applying structured methodologies such as root cause analysis, failure mode evaluation, and performance gap analysis to eliminate recurring failures and operational bottlenecks. Ensure maintenance activities are executed safely and in accordance with engineering standards by leading hazard identification and mitigation prior to work execution. Partner with operations and engineering stakeholders to evaluate system capacity, asset capability, and equipment constraints, ensuring manufacturing systems meet customer requirements and production demands. Provide technical oversight of plant maintenance systems and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and automated systems, ensuring work meets engineering specifications and reliability standards. Apply asset‑criticality and reliability engineering principles to prioritize maintenance work, optimize scheduling, and maximize equipment uptime and value creation. Develop maintenance team capability by reinforcing precision maintenance practices, technical standards, and disciplined execution aligned with reliability engineering best practices. Support continuous improvement initiatives by using engineering judgment to assess process performance, recommend technical solutions, and sustain long‑term equipment reliability. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Previous experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing/industrial environment OR military leadership role Experience utilizing a computerized maintenance management system What Will Put You Ahead Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering focusing in electrical or mechanical Corrugated Experience Continuous improvement experience and/or education Knowledge of equipment servicing, planning/scheduling, mechanical and electrical maintenance, and plant/project engineering Experience establishing and/or administering a Predictive/Preventive Maintenance program and tracking results Knowledge of PLCs, drives, servos, motors and instrumentation At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
