Introduction:Within Planning & Control, the Production & Material Planner is responsible for securing material availability required to support uninterrupted warehouse and production operations. The Production & Material Planner proactively monitors inventory health, material shortages and supply risks for both pick parts and standard packaging materials used within the 5L warehouse. By closely collaborating with Material Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehouse Operations and Logistics stakeholders, the Production & Material Planner identifies risks, drives mitigation actions and continuously improves material availability processes. The role combines pick part production planning, material planning, data analysis and stakeholder management to ensure material availability, inventory health and operational continuity. Role and Responsibilities: Shortage Management & Operational Planning Plan, release, prioritize and monitor production orders for pick parts to support warehouse and manufacturing demand. Monitor availability of materials required for pick part production, including critical child materials. Analyze shortages, identify root causes and coordinate mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders. Proactively identify and resolve material constraints impacting operational performance. Track and follow up actions until successful resolution. Material Availability & Inventory Control Safeguard the availability of pick parts and standard packaging materials required for warehouse and production operations. Monitor inventory health, consumption trends and planning parameters (e.g. min-max settings). Identify material availability risks and drive mitigation actions to prevent operational disruptions. Support inventory optimization and continuous improvement of inventory planning settings. Performance Monitoring & Stakeholder Management Monitor material availability performance through reporting and dashboards. Translate operational data into actionable insights and recommendations. Act as the operational focal point for material availability related topics. Collaborate closely with Material Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics to drive issue resolution and operational decision making. Support NPI activities by ensuring a smooth transfer and operational readiness of new pick parts and standard packaging materials. Continuous Improvement Identify and implement improvements in material availability, inventory control and planning processes. Support standardization, simplification and process optimization initiatives across Planning & Control. Contribute to cross-functional improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational performance and supply chain reliability. Background and Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent. 1-3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning or Manufacturing. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Experience with data analysis and reporting tools. Experience in a high-tech manufacturing or logistics environment is considered a plus. High level of ownership and accountability. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proactive and persistent in driving actions across multiple stakeholders. Other information: The Logistics Operations department is responsible for all storage, planning and shipment of ASML material. Within this environment, the Business Support – Planning & Control department plays a key role in monitoring, managing and improving the end-to-end logistics flow. The Production & Material Planner operates in a dynamic logistics environment where material availability, inventory health and operational planning directly impact operational continuity and delivery performance. The role requires a proactive mindset, strong analytical capabilities and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders to balance operational priorities and inventory health. Full-time position in Dayshift Job Family: Operational Planner You will be part of the GMF MS LO BS Planning & Control team, and report to the Team Lead. As this role is a new position in a changing environment, your responsibilities are NOT fixed and therefore not limited to that what is described.
