People Experience The People Experience team empowers Grow Getters to grow better, creating impactful experiences, moments of belonging, and connection to our mission throughout their employee journey. Talent Acquisition & Mobility The Talent Acquisition & Mobility team helps HubSpot win by hiring Grow Getters and enabling internal mobility. We’re focused on finding and supporting top talent who thrive in a culture of growth, impact, and innovation. Workforce Analytics & Operations The Workforce Analytics & Operations team delivers the systems, insights, and processes that power the employee experience at HubSpot. From workforce planning to performance, we use data to inform decisions that help our people grow better. I also partner deeply with hiring managers to understand what talent they need to help their teams thrive. I was the very first official hire for HubSpot India—a personal milestone! Outside of work, I’m big on cooking and baking—so much so that I’ve turned it into a mini passion project on Instagram! What team are you on and what is the team mission? I am a part of People Operations Team and we aim to facilitate remarkable experiences through efficient & accurate People solutions for all HubSpotters. What does an average day look like? My day usually involves a mix of supporting employees with their queries, driving process improvements and automation, and collaborating on exciting People Ops projects. I also proudly wear the hat of our "In-Office Culture Champion"—planning events and adding a little extra spark to life at HubSpot India! How are you and your team solving for the customer? Our team is dedicated to delivering fast, accurate, and people-first support—so HubSpotters can spend less time searching for answers and more time doing what they do best! What's one thing you worked on recently that you're proud of? I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with multiple teams to shape policies and processes with a local lens for HubSpot India. It’s been incredibly rewarding to provide regional insights and ensure our global initiatives align with what works best for our India team. Being part of this foundational work has been both impactful and exciting! What's your favorite Slack emoji? 🙏🏻 (Always Grateful) Steph McDonald What's one thing most people wouldn't know about you? I'm a budding watercolor artist and a video game nerd! I also love to read and write and hope to publish my own novel someday! What team are you on and what is the team mission? I'm on the Talent Acquisition team and our mission is to hire Grow-getters that build delightful products for our customers! What does an average day look like? Oh goodness, that's a loaded question! My day is spent building relationships with candidates via interviews and creating a safe space for them to share their experiences. I also partner deeply with hiring managers to understand what talent they need to help their teams thrive. Finally, I do a lot of team projects to elevate the work of our talent team, as a Principal Recruiter. How are you and your team solving for the customer? We're hiring top talent to create strategy and designs that will help our customers Grow Better! What's one thing you worked on recently that you're proud of? I helped one of our technical teams to create a visual offer letter - it's a lovely and HubSpotty way to present the offer terms that is welcoming and visually appealing.
