Job description

As a Material & Warehouse Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials are planned, controlled, stored, and delivered efficiently to support project execution and operational excellence. You will work across material planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, and safety compliance to help maintain a reliable supply chain while driving inventory accuracy and effective utilization of resources. Our Team You will be part of a collaborative operations team that supports project execution through effective material management and warehouse operations. Working closely with engineering, planning, production, procurement, and warehouse colleagues, you will help ensure materials are available when needed while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency. What You Will Do Ensure material availability aligns with project schedules and operational requirements. Manage material planning activities by reviewing project requirements, BOMs, drawings, and inventory levels. Maintain accurate inventory records, material master data, and transaction integrity within the ERP system. Monitor material utilization, identify shortages, and drive actions to minimize project risks and material waste. Support efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, issuance, material handling, and inventory control. Promote inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and continuous process improvements. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve material flow, inventory visibility, and project readiness. Optimize warehouse space utilization and material preservation practices. Support a strong safety culture through adherence to HSE requirements and safe material handling practices. Contribute to operational excellence by identifying opportunities for process improvement and inventory optimization. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in material management, inventory control, or warehouse operations. Experience using ERP systems for inventory management and material transactions. Ability to read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), material take-offs, and engineering drawings. Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control processes, and material planning activities. What Will Put You Ahead Experience within the Oil & Gas, EPC, manufacturing, or industrial sectors. Knowledge of piping materials, fittings, flanges, valves, structural steel, and related industrial materials. Experience supporting project-based environments with material planning and project allocation activities. Familiarity with inventory optimization, warehouse layout improvements, and storage efficiency initiatives. Strong understanding of material traceability and preservation requirements. Experience participating in inventory audits, cycle counting programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
