As a Graduate Field Sales Engineer, you will work with experienced colleagues and leading automotive customers to explore complex challenges, shape innovative system-level solutions and turn opportunities into long-term value and growth. You do not need to arrive as an automotive, semiconductor or AI expert - we will help you build that knowledge. Your work could support software-defined vehicles, electrification, driver and cabin intelligence, connectivity, intelligent sensing and next-generation energy systems. Your graduate experience From day one, you will join a graduate community and learn by doing through structured training, mentoring, customer visits, field shadowing and live assignments. You will build practical skills in semiconductor technology, automotive systems, consultative selling and commercial execution, connect with senior leaders, and gain opportunities to present your ideas. As your confidence grows, you will take on greater ownership of customer opportunities and growth initiatives, supported by experienced colleagues. What you will do Connect with customers: Build trusted relationships, ask insightful questions and understand the technical and business challenges that matter most that lead to impactful outcomes. Discover and develop opportunities: Identify customers and growth opportunities, then help progress them from early idea to technical validation, design win and production. Create customer value: Show how ADI’s system-level solutions solve meaningful problems and deliver measurable impact. Work as one team: Collaborate across applications, product, marketing, customer service and account teams to deliver the best outcome. Turn insight into action: Use approved digital and AI tools responsibly, and share customer and market learning that can influence decisions, product strategy and innovation. What you bring High learning agility: a strong curiosity about technology, customers and the commercial impact of engineering, with the willingness and ability to learn quickly, seek feedback and apply new knowledge. Clear, confident written and verbal communication, with the ability to listen well and make complex ideas easy to understand. Analytical thinking and a structured, creative approach to solving problems. Energy for building relationships and collaborating across teams, cultures and functions. Initiative, resilience, personal responsibility and the organisation to balance priorities and follow through. Interest in using AI-enabled tools responsibly to analyse information, improve productivity and support customer decisions. A STEM degree is desirable but not essential. Flexibility to work in the office as required, travel 25–40% of the time, and hold a valid driving licence and passport.
