Senior Accounting Manager (Ind Contributor)

Job description

Work alongside the EMEA Finance Director; help with the EMEA day to day accounting and GL activities related to AP, Purchasing, Payroll and related accrual/expenses. Ensure EMEA month end is closed in line with corporate deadlines; monthly, quarterly & annually. Work with the EMEA Accountants & other process owners to share & adopt best practice, seek continuous improvements to processes & contribute to the overall efficiency & effectiveness of the department. Coordination of the close, Commissions, Funding, Fixed Assets & others as defined. Ensure a high level of Compliance with GAAP, SOX and local laws. Ongoing assessment of Internal Control procedures and implementing new systems and also system enhancements needed to support the business needs across the functional areas.
