Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day maintenance of the General Ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded, properly documented, and supported by appropriate evidence. Prepare, review, and post journal entries in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. Perform detailed reconciliations of General Ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, providing clear and insightful financial analysis to support management reporting and decision-making. Support the Record-to-Report (R2R) process by delivering timely and accurate financial information for internal and external reporting purposes. Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Tax, and other business functions to ensure the accurate integration of financial data into the General Ledger. Assist in internal and external audit processes by preparing supporting documentation, account analyses, and responding to auditor inquiries. Develop, maintain, and enhance General Ledger policies, procedures, and controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with GAAP and company standards. Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in special projects related to financial analysis, systems enhancements, policy reviews, and operational excellence. Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses to support business needs and strategic initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred. 3-5+ years of progressive experience in General Ledger accounting, Record-to-Report (R2R), or a similar finance function. Fluency in English is required. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and General Ledger processes. Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and financial reporting tools. Knowledge of cash application software and related financial systems is a plus. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting). Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
