The Senior Technical Support Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding business continuity by serving as the primary point of contact for high-impact technical escalations. This position requires an expert level of knowledge in Kubernetes and other associated technologies to conduct complex support activities, provide technical training, and develop preventative measures that enhance service reliability for both the organization and its customers. Key Responsibilities 1. Serve As The Point Of Contact For All High Business-Impacting Critical Activities And Technical Escalations In Kubernetes Environments, Ensuring Swift Resolution Of Issues. 2. Conduct Complex Support Activities By Diagnosing And Resolving Kubernetes-Related Incidents While Providing Oversight And Technical Training To Less Experienced Team Members. 3. Collaborate With Customers To Proactively Identify And Implement Preventive Measures That Mitigate Future Defects Within Kubernetes Deployments. 4. Identify Potential Risks In Support Processes And Develop Comprehensive Contingency Plans To Address Them Effectively. 5. Act As A Subject Matter Expert (Sme) In Kubernetes, Delivering Technical Support And Assistance To Both Internal Teams And External Customers, Ensuring High Levels Of Satisfaction And Service Reliability. 6. Aid In The Creation And Development Of Initial Troubleshooting Tools And Resources For Customers, Enhancing The Service Offerings And Improving Response Times To Incidents. Skill Requirements 1. Expert-Level Proficiency In Kubernetes And Container Orchestration Technologies. 2. Strong Knowledge Of Devops Practices And It Service Management (Itsm) Frameworks. 3. Proficiency In Monitoring Tools To Assess Performance And Availability Of Kubernetes Clusters. 4. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Perform Complex Troubleshooting. 5. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Liaise With Customers And Internal Teams. Other Requirements 1. Relevant Certifications Such As Certified Kubernetes Administrator (Cka) Or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (Ckad) Are Highly Desirable But Not Mandatory. 2.
