Job Description: Senior Test Engineer, Manual and Automation Testing Overview -We are looking for a hands-on Senior Test Engineer with strong experience in manual and automation testing, particularly using Selenium, Playwright, and Java. The ideal candidate is highly practical, detail-oriented, and capable of contributing both to test strategy and day-to-day execution. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for functional and regression testing Build and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and Java Identify, document, and track defects through the defect lifecycle Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage Participate in test planning, test estimation, and release readiness activities Create and maintain test documentation, including test scenarios, test data, and test reports Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and support continuous quality improvement Contribute to test framework improvements and automation best practices Ensure quality standards are followed throughout the software development lifecycle Required Skills and Experience Proven experience in manual and automation testing Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and Java Solid understanding of test design techniques, test execution, and defect management Experience with regression, integration, and functional testing Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test cases Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Good understanding of test automation frameworks, preferably with TestNG, JUnit, Maven, or Gradle Handons with STLC Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins is an advantage Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in framework design or enhancement Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured Knowledge of version control systems like Git Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus Personal Attributes Hands-on and proactive approach Strong ownership and accountability Detail-oriented with a focus on quality Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable in a fast-paced environment" Key Responsibilities "Description UCHP angular project.
