Digital Work Place Virtualization Lead /Architect is a critical role in our organization. Critical for success is the ability to oversee the support of multiple site teams, systems, infrastructure and end user support. Technical Citrix Lead Primary Skill Set & Experience: Overall 12+ years in IT Infrastructure experience with minimum 10+ years in Citrix Desktop Virtualization. SME-level skills in implementing & supporting Citrix XenApp\XenDesktop\VDI\WVD (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops) in both VMware ESX and Microsoft Azure environments. Key Responsibilities Job Description Strong Experience Required: Citrix XenApp - Installing, configuring, managing and troubleshooting complex and large Citrix server sites. Administration, engineering and implementation of virtualization in the following areas: o Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop 7.15 LTSR and above o Storefront o Provisioning Services o Citrix Machine Creation Services Citrix ADC and Citrix ADM o Citrix License Server o Citrix WEM Service Microsoft technologies: Windows Server 2012\2016\2019, Windows 10, Office365 suite, App-V 5.x, Group Policy, Active Directory, Microsoft RDS Licensing. Cloud technologies such as Citrix Cloud, Microsoft Azure and setting up their integration with each other along with On-Prem (VMware\ESXi). Optimizing Citrix performance, scalability, security, high-availability, monitoring, printing and connectivity. • Managing Group Policy, DNS and DHCP. • Citrix\Microsoft technologies such as Citrix FAS, Citrix ADM (aka NMAS), Citrix ADC (including GSLB), Certificate authority (PKI), FSLogix, Citrix App Layering. • Thin client technologies (IGEL, HP, Dell, etc.) and their integration with virtualization platforms such as Citrix, VMWare etc. Good to have knowledge on: Cloud Infrastructure Design Patterns on Microsoft Azure. • Designing and Implementing the Networking, Data and Storage, Compute, Cloud Security, Cloud Governance, Infrastructure Monitoring and Operations. Hybrid Cloud Strategies and Architecture for Microsoft Azure. • Automation and DevOps. Certifications: Citrix Cloud Certifications (Microsoft Azure certifications preferred) CC-VAD-CC CC-VAD-MA CCE-V CCP-V CCA-V CCA-N Skill Requirements Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both orally and in writing. • Ability to work professionally and productively with all encountered in the course of work, including personnel supporting departments, vendors, and consultants. Excellent interpersonal skills. Requirements 10+ Years of Experience in global projects with expertise in following areas: Windows 2019/2016/2008 Servers - commission, recovery, maintenance, troubleshooting of OS and hardware issues, decommission etc. Good working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and WINS Maintenance, troubleshooting and doing RCA of XenApp 6.x, 7.x servers Migration of applications from legacy Citrix farms to XenApp 7.x, 6.x servers farm Maintenance, troubleshooting and doing RCA of XenDesktop 6.x, 7.x servers Maintainence and management of Netscaler Maintainence and management of WEM ITIL Processes - Change, Incident and Problem management Servers management using remote tools (ILO/DRAC/OpenManage) MS Patches deployment using WSUS or SCCM Must have experience in creating and maintaining SOPs to run offshore operations Experience in handling Escalated issues including coordination with multiple teams and vendor Problem Management & solving mindset Experince in managing Team of 15+ members Soft Skills - Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written) - Good documentation skills - Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio) - Should have a great customer handling skills - Able to handle unforeseen situations - High level of acceptance - Can drive HCL’s value and its methodology - Excellent people/ Team management skill Certification requirements CCP-V/ Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops Service Integration with Citrix Cloud/Azure / CCA-N is mandatory MCSE / MCSA / MCITP/VCP Preferred Other Requirements Apply now Information at a Glance Why HCLTech?
