Key Responsibilities · Analyze approved enhancement requests and translate business, IAM, security, compliance, and operational needs into functional and technical designs. · Design, configure, develop, and implement new Saviynt capabilities within the agreed enhancement backlog and platform-supported framework. · Enhance Joiner-Mover-Leaver workflows, identity update rules, birthright access, lifecycle events, exception handling, and automated provisioning and deprovisioning. · Develop and improve access request forms, entitlement catalogs, approval workflows, dynamic approval logic, delegation, notifications, and policy-driven fulfillment. · Configure and enhance technical rules, user update rules, workflows, roles, policies, access certifications, SoD rules, risk scoring, analytics, controls, and email templates. · Design, build, and enhance standard and custom connectors using Active Directory, LDAP, delimited file, JDBC/database, REST/SOAP API, SCIM, SaaS, and event-driven patterns. · Develop data transformations, mappings, correlation logic, provisioning commands, retry and exception handling, reconciliation logic, and secure authentication mechanisms. · Create automation scripts and reusable engineering components to reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and standardize delivery. · Assess Saviynt releases, patches, fixes, and new features for compatibility, security impact, dependencies, and business value. · Plan and execute feature enablement, patch deployment, platform upgrades, and controlled configuration migration across environments. · Prepare estimates, user stories, acceptance criteria, technical tasks, dependencies, risks, and implementation plans for sprint and release backlogs. · Perform peer reviews, unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, performance validation, and security validation for developed changes. · Support user acceptance testing, investigate defects, implement fixes, and maintain traceability from requirement through production deployment. · Prepare CAB submissions, change records, implementation plans, rollback plans, test evidence, deployment checklists, and post-implementation validation results. · Coordinate releases with application, security, infrastructure, operations, and vendor teams; provide deployment and post-release hypercare support. · Diagnose and resolve complex engineering defects and recurring issues; engage Saviynt product support when product-level assistance is required. · Maintain solution designs, configuration workbooks, engineering standards, configuration baselines, release notes, technical runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles. · Transition completed enhancements to BAU support through walkthroughs, operational-readiness checks, knowledge transfer, and support documentation. · Provide monthly engineering governance reporting covering backlog, sprint progress, releases, defects, risks, dependencies, capacity, SLA performance, and delivered benefits. · Identify continuous-improvement opportunities that increase automation, platform adoption, control effectiveness, maintainability, and delivery velocity. Skill Requirements · Hands-on engineering and implementation experience with Saviynt EIC or Saviynt Security Manager. · Strong knowledge of identity governance, JML lifecycle automation, access requests, approvals, provisioning, reconciliation, certifications, RBAC, and Segregation of Duties. · Proficiency in Saviynt connections, endpoints, workflows, technical rules, user update rules, jobs, analytics, actionable controls, email templates, roles, and policies. · Experience building or enhancing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, SCIM, Active Directory, LDAP, JDBC/database, delimited files, and custom connector patterns. · Working knowledge of JSON, XML, SQL, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, secure credentials, service accounts, and API troubleshooting. · Scripting or development capability in one or more of Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python, or PowerShell. · Experience with SDLC, Agile/Scrum, backlog management, estimation, peer review, version control, testing, defect management, release management, and change control. · Ability to troubleshoot complex configuration, integration, workflow, data-mapping, provisioning, reconciliation, and performance issues. · Understanding of least privilege, secure-by-design principles, audit evidence, regulatory controls, and production support readiness. · Experience using ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM platform and Jira, Azure DevOps, or a comparable Agile delivery tool. Other Requirements Experience and Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. · Typically 5–9 years of IAM/IGA experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Saviynt engineering, development, or enhancement delivery. · Demonstrated experience delivering Saviynt changes from requirements and design through testing, CAB approval, production deployment, and BAU handover. · Experience managing multiple enhancements, defects, and dependencies within Agile sprints and planned release cycles. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, stakeholder-management, and written and verbal English communication skills. · Ability to work effectively across distributed application, security, infrastructure, compliance, vendor, and operations teams. Preferred Skills and Certifications · Saviynt IGA certification or relevant Saviynt implementation and engineering training. · Experience with platform upgrades, patch validation, regression automation, configuration promotion, and release orchestration. · Knowledge of CI/CD, Git or an equivalent version-control tool, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices. · Experience in regulated enterprise environments and with SOX, SOC, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, or similar control frameworks. · Exposure to cloud platforms, PAM, SSO, MFA, SIEM, ITSM, HR systems, SAP, and adjacent identity technologies. · ITIL, Agile, cloud, cybersecurity, or identity-management certification. Key Deliverables and Success Measures · Approved functional and technical designs, estimates, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans for assigned enhancements. · Completed Saviynt configurations, code, connectors, workflows, rules, tests, evidence, and deployment packages delivered within agreed sprint and release commitments. · Successful CAB approval, controlled production deployment, rollback readiness, validation, and support handover. · Low escaped-defect rate, timely defect resolution, and stable post-release performance. · Accurate, reusable, and audit-ready engineering documentation, configuration baselines, release notes, runbooks, and knowledge articles. · Transparent monthly reporting on backlog, capacity, velocity, defects, risks, dependencies, releases, and delivered business value. · Measurable improvement in automation, platform adoption, control effectiveness, maintainability, and enhancement cycle time. · Compliance with approved architecture, security, quality, change, release, and audit standards.
