YOUR ROLE Joining Capgemini Engineering as a Senior Conversational AI Designer , you will play a key role in designing, shaping, and optimizing AI-powered conversational experiences across voice and digital channels. Working at the intersection of UX, Generative AI, and conversational technologies, you will help create intuitive, engaging, and scalable experiences that deliver measurable value for users and businesses. In this role you will play a key role in: Designing end-to-end conversational experiences for chat and voice-based AI solutions. Translating business requirements and user needs into seamless conversational journeys and interaction flows. Defining conversational strategies, dialog structures, tone of voice, and personality frameworks for AI assistants and virtual agents. Designing and optimizing experiences powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies. Creating prompts, guardrails, and conversation orchestration frameworks to ensure reliable, consistent, and secure AI interactions. Developing and maintaining conversational design guidelines, pattern libraries, and design system components. Collaborating closely with UX designers, product managers, AI engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. Analyzing user behavior and conversation data to continuously improve experience quality and business outcomes. Supporting the deployment and evolution of conversational AI solutions in production environments. YOUR PROFILE We are looking for a passionate and experienced conversational design professional who combines user-centered design principles with a strong understanding of Generative AI technologies. Minimum 2 years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, Service Design, or related disciplines . Minimum 1 years of experience in Conversational Design , Conversation Design, VUI Design, or Conversational UX. Proven experience designing and delivering conversational AI solutions deployed in production environments. Strong understanding of Generative AI , Large Language Models (LLMs) , prompt engineering, and AI conversation orchestration. Hands-on experience defining conversational guardrails, governance models, and responsible AI interaction patterns. Experience designing both chat-based and voice-based (VUI) user experiences. Strong knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, interaction design principles, and usability best practices. Experience facilitating workshops and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in Portuguese and English , both written and spoken. Nice to Have Experience with conversational AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Dialogflow, Cognigy, IBM Watson Assistant, Amazon Lex, or similar. Knowledge of accessibility standards applied to conversational experiences. Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, and compliance requirements. Experience working in agile product development environments. Certifications or training related to UX, Service Design, AI, or Conversational Design.
