Responsibilities: Performs the General Accounting, Reporting & Controlling process in close collaboration with the local entity;​ Executes sub-ledgers (closing) activities in the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, etc.;​ Executes and supports the monthly closing process;​ Supports business review of P&L and BS in strong collaboration with local entity, performs reclassifications/ adjustments based on request/need;​ Prepares and performs standard journal entries in the ERP system;​ Performs standard Accounting and Controlling analysis, as well as Reporting in close collaboration with the local entity;​ Resolves open issues with the local entity;​ Responsible to document all corresponding Internal Controls and follow all Compliance rules as per Internal Controls Matrix and CPP/ LPP;​ Supports local team in internal and external financial audits;​ Acts as back-up for colleagues who are on leave, as per the internal regulations;​ Provides support to other colleagues and team members, when they require help to fulfill their daily activities;​ Provides support to the extended team, as and when it is the case​; Assure ad hoc support for projects, initiatives;​ Shows ability to manage own time schedule in order to meet the established deadlines;​ Acts as consultant for other team members (GL, AP, AR), as well as new joiners and is the first go-to person for operational queries;​ Proactively identifies any issues or risks and informs Team Lead, as well as suggests solutions;​ Identifies improvement opportunities and works towards standardization and harmonization of processes;​ Handles complex GL & reporting tasks, higher volumes - manual journal entries, more calculations (ex. Prepaid, Accruals);​ Performs monthly checks and is proactive in proposing corrections in case they are required;​ Involved in training new colleagues and/or in projects (roll-out, improvement opportunities)​. Qualifications: University graduate in Economics/Accounting;​ Experience in the General Accounting, Reporting & Controlling;​ Experience in IFRS and the local GAAP is mandatory;​ English for business use is mandatory (German language is an advantage);​ Good computer skills related to Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel skills are mandatory;​ SAP Knowledge or different ERP experience is mandatory;​ Fact-driven and strong analytical skills, detailed oriented attitude to identify accuracy;​ Open to process improvements;​ Team player;​ Identifies improvement opportunities and works towards standardization and harmonization of processes;​ Very good communication skills;​ Ability to perform end-to-end process independently and ask for support when required;​ Ability to proactively identify any issue or risk and suggest solution;​ Ability to adjust to new situations and prioritize accordingly;​ Proactive implementation of sustainable change. ‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
