Your Role As a Functional Test Engineer , you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of business-critical applications by executing comprehensive testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle. Working closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams, you will validate requirements, identify defects, and contribute to delivering high-quality digital solutions. In this role, you will participate in test planning, test execution, defect management, and continuous improvement initiatives within Agile delivery environments. You will play a key role in enhancing product quality and user experience while supporting efficient and predictable software releases. Responsibilities & Scope Execute functional, integration, and regression testing activities across enterprise applications. Analyze business requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data. Identify, document, track, and validate defects using Jira or similar defect management tools. Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and QA teams to ensure application quality. Participate in Agile ceremonies and support iterative delivery processes. Validate application functionality against defined business and technical requirements. Contribute to test documentation, reporting, and quality metrics. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes and methodologies. Assist with test automation adoption and quality engineering best practices where applicable. Your Profile Demonstrates strong expertise in functional testing, test case design, defect management, and software quality assurance, ensuring reliable and high-performing applications. Applies a detail-oriented and analytical mindset, proactively identifying defects, risks, and opportunities to improve product quality and user experience. Collaborates effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams, fostering transparency, alignment, and successful delivery outcomes. Embraces Agile ways of working and continuous improvement, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on quality and value delivery. Job Description As Test Automation Engineer, you are involved in the automated verification and validation of products made by engineers in a development process. Your technical and professional knowledge of Test Automation, programming, test environments and methodologies is solid. With your knowledge and experience with one or more test tools and test techniques, you can independently design and execute test automation solutions. You follow the latest developments in your field and you know what is going on. Job Description - Grade Specific As a QA Automation Engineer, you are required to have sufficient knowledge to work on standard automation tools such as UFT and Selenium. You are expected to understand automation techniques and apply them to design, develop, debug and execute automation scripts.
