This is a great opportunity to combine people leadership, Business Analysis leadership and transformational change delivery. As a member of the Commercial Business Analysis Practice Leadership Team, you'll play a key role in developing our people, strengthening our profession and leading analysis across some of our most complex and strategically important initiatives. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you'll help shape ideas before investment decisions are made, ensuring business needs, risks, opportunities and delivery implications are understood so that change delivers meaningful outcomes for our customers, colleagues and business. This role is based in our Guildford office. This is a hybrid role with the expectation that you will attend the office between 2 and 16 days per month depending on business needs Salary Circa £75,000.00 per year Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package. Key Accountabilities As Senior Change Lead (Business Analysis) you will Shape and grow a high-performing Business Analysis community, developing capability, setting standards and ensuring our people are deployed to the areas where they can create the greatest value. lead, coach and develop Business Analysts, creating an engaged, collaborative and inclusive environment where people can thrive and build successful careers. Be accountable for people management activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, coaching, talent development and succession planning. Spend a significant proportion of your time delivering Business Analysis in a Lead Business Analyst capacity. Provide Business Analysis leadership across Ideation, Triage, Discovery and Delivery, helping to frame complex business problems, shape strategic initiatives and ensure informed investment decisions. Guide the analysis of complex and strategic opportunities, ensuring decisions are supported by evidence, options, trade-offs, value, risk and delivery considerations before commitments are made. Provide technical leadership, assurance and coaching to Business Analysts, promoting consistent standards and proportionate approaches whilst enabling teams to work autonomously and effectively. Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Architects and business stakeholders to shape initiatives, manage analysis demand and ensure change delivers against strategic objectives and key business outcomes. Champion Business Analysis excellence by promoting best practice, supporting Communities of Practice and driving continuous improvement across the profession. Foster a high-performance culture, encouraging a growth mindset, collaboration and a focus on delivering meaningful business value. Essential Skills An acknowledged expert in Business Analysis, passionate about the Business Analyst Role, who enjoys developing people just as much as delivering change. Highly Developed Business Analysis expertise and a track record of leading complex business and technology change. Experience shaping initiatives through early lifecycle activities such as ideation, triage, discovery, business case development and investment decisions. Proven people leadership, coaching and capability development experience. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach for business, product and technology audiences. Experience influencing senior stakeholders and constructively challenging assumptions, scope and priorities. Excellent understanding of Agile delivery and the role Business Analysis plays across product and transformation environments. The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on analysis when complexity demands it. Ideally, experience within Financial Services, Commercial Insurance or another regulated environment. Desirable Skills Ideally, experience within Commercial Insurance Experience in General Insurance, Financial Services or another regulated environment. BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis Evidence of continuing professional development and relevant qualifications in Business Analysis, Change Management or Agile delivery would be advantageous.
