Job Summary The Principal. Sol. Architect, D&T, SAP EWM is accountable for collaborating with the Principal D&T SAP MM and the Principal D&T, SAP SD in various locations to define, deliver and support D&T enabled business solutions for the Operations, Supply Chain and Shipping functions. This role will also help determine business needs and design & deliver technical solutions for these areas. The Principal. Sol. Architect, D&T, SAP EWM/LE has primary accountability for the delivery of Warehouse Management system/EWM services including project delivery, system configuration and enhancement and production support in alignment with West D&T and company policies and procedures. This Roles includes team management and collaboration for allocation and delivery the EWM space Work . Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for leading the design and implementation of an SAP WM/EWM and LE solution-delivery of project deliverables including blue prints, functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training and go-live support. Partnering with key Business and IT stakeholders to outlay the global design of Transportation Management and delivery of the design globally across multiple ERP systems. Spearheading the business needs on Freight order management and freight settlement, shipment costing, BOL etc. Design and build of Interface in EWM/TM areas. Providing support and maintenance in relevant Interface. Partnering and collaborating with other Logistics and Finance SAP Solution Architects/Principals to design and deliver the integrated solutions in SAP systems. Work and provide support on various Customer and 3PL interfaces as required in the Organization. Utilize specialized expertise in the area to collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain and the Manufacturing Sites to define detailed User Stories for D&T enablement of business needs. This includes interpreting any issues and recommending solutions or best practices. Partner with Application and Infrastructure to define strategic direction, determine business needs and design & deliver technical viable solutions. Essential core member of agile sprint team(s) to configure and develop optimal technical solutions / features. Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements as described in User Stories. Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and process set within the ERP Services Delivery model, West policies and procedures as well as Regulatory requirements including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP. Create and maintain system lifecycle documents in accordance with West policies and procedures, including creation and maintenance of SOPs, SOIs and Job Aids. Education Bachelor's Degree degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Systems required Work Experience Minimum 8 years 8-10 years of related work experience, i.e., 4 or more full implementations of SAP required Shift 12:00 PM IST to 9:00 PM IST Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Solid SAP skills – system functionality and technical understanding of Plant Maintenance and related areas. Good knowledge and understanding on QM, Manufacturing, and other domains Must be up to date on latest ERP release. Strong HANA knowledge preferred Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Proficient English language skills Willingness to global travel Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description Able to always comply with the company’s safety and quality policy License and Certifications Agile and Scrum Certification, ITIL and SAP Certification preferred Travel Requirements 20%: Up to 52 business days per year Physical Requirements Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
