Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. Must have skills : Java (Programming Language) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 15 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes defining and monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate testing effectiveness, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain product excellence and reliability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and team performance. - Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java (Programming Language). - Strong expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies within complex application environments. - Experience in applying quality processes and methodologies to ensure comprehensive test coverage and defect management. - Ability to define, track, and analyze key metrics to assess testing progress and quality outcomes. - Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams to integrate testing activities seamlessly into the software development lifecycle. - Competence in managing test execution workflows and facilitating effective defect resolution.
