WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: Build Your Career on Our Standalone Transformation ). In this role, you support the correct and timely execution of the group financial consolidation process for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, helping to ensure completeness, accuracy, and a fully auditable consolidation trail. You carry out defined consolidation activities and controls throughout the closing cycle by applying consolidation rules consistently, reviewing submissions from service units and local finance teams, and following up with them on deviations and corrective actions in alignment with senior team members. You analyze and help resolve consolidation topics, including intercompany mismatches, foreign currency translation, impacts of organizational changes, and other IFRS‑related topics, escalating more complex cases to senior colleagues. You contribute to the further development of the technical consolidation landscape by supporting system tests, configuration updates, and the implementation of new functionalities and releases. You support cross‑functional initiatives such as reorganizations, carve‑outs, acquisitions, and system or process transformations by preparing analyses and helping to address accounting and consolidation implications. You contribute to data quality and transparency by performing variance analyses, preparing follow‑ups and clear documentation, and supporting the preparation of information requested by auditors and other stakeholders. WHAT YOU OFFER Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field at least three years of relevant experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, or audit in an IFRS environment solid understanding of consolidation processes and technical accounting topics, including intercompany logic and foreign currency effects, with the motivation to deepen your expertise very good English skills, along with good knowledge of SAP ERP, consolidation tools and common MS Office applications strong analytical skills, a structured and accurate way of working, good communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, enabling you to work effectively with stakeholders across functions WHAT WE OFFER Responsibility within a leading international agricultural company.
