In a fast-changing and increasingly volatile environment , Allianz considers this capability a strategic imperative requiring concrete action, sustained commitment, and strong operational leadership. The ASOC will strengthen Allianz Group’s ability to anticipate, monitor, respond to, and recover from disruptions by integrating intelligence and operational capabilities and progressively expanding toward continuous, follow-the-sun coverage. It will protect Allianz personnel, physical assets, business operations, and critical functions through consistent monitoring, analysis, escalation, coordination, and reporting. The ASOC Lead will drive the operational development, maturity, and integrated delivery of the ASOC across a complex multinational and matrixed environment. We are looking for an experienced security leader with a strong background in corporate security, security operations centers, control rooms, intelligence-led security, or equivalent 24/7 operational environments. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, operational discipline, people leadership, and the ability to translate business and security objectives into clear priorities for multicultural teams operating across countries , time zones, and progressively follow-the-sun coordination models. Oversee the quality and effectiveness of intelligence outputs and operational responses, establishing performance standards, service expectations, and continuous improvement mechanisms in collaboration with stakeholders at Group level and in Operating Entities. Use security assurance management findings to inform intelligence analysis, operational monitoring and response act ivities. Build, manage, and develop a diverse, multicultural team across multiple locations, fostering complementary skill sets, collaboration, accountability, and a strong shared culture. Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and governance bodies, providing regular updates on ASOC performance, risks, priorities, and direction. Act as the ASOC representative during crises or major incidents, ensuring clear coordination, timely escalation, and effective communication with crisis management structures, senior leadership, and relevant stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business units and specialist functions, including the Group Corporate Security team, Communications, Legal, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Operating Entities, and local security teams.
