Pico fuels the global capital markets community by providing exceptional market data services and customized managed infrastructure solutions. As financial industry experts at the center of markets and technology, we help our clients efficiently scale their business and quickly access markets. From infrastructure to connectivity, we support our clients through the full trading lifecycle. We are a global company headquartered in New York, with offices in Chicago, London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo. The Accounts Receivable Manager will be a key member of the global accounting and finance organization, responsible for leading the end-to-end accounts receivable function. The role will oversee customer invoicing, cash application, collections, account reconciliations, credit and dispute management, and period-end reporting, while maintaining strong internal controls and delivering accurate, timely financial information. This highly visible role will partner with Sales, Account Management, Legal, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and other stakeholders to improve working capital, resolve customer account issues, and support a scalable order-to-cash process. The ideal candidate combines operational expertise with hands-on leadership, sound judgment, a customer-focused approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement and automation. Responsibilities of the role: Lead and manage daily accounts receivable operations, including billing, cash application, collections, customer account maintenance, credit balances, refunds, AR reporting, and dispute resolution. Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounts receivable close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliations, aging analyses, allowance considerations, and management reporting. Monitor receivables aging, collection performance, unapplied cash, disputed invoices, and past-due balances; establish follow-up plans and escalate material risks as appropriate. Develop and maintain collection strategies, customer communication standards, and account prioritization practices that support cash flow while preserving constructive customer relationships. Maintain and strengthen policies, procedures, process documentation, and internal controls across the accounts receivable cycle, including compliance with applicable accounting standards and company requirements. Prepare and present meaningful accounts receivables metrics and management reporting, including aging trends, collection status, DSO, cash application performance, entity-level receivables, and risk areas. Serve as the primary accounts receivable contact for internal and external audits; prepare supporting schedules and respond to audit requests in a timely manner. Lead, coach, and develop accounts receivable team members; set clear priorities, assign work effectively, review outputs, and promote accountability and collaboration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Account Management, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Billing Operations, to resolve billing and collection issues and support accurate reporting. Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and scalable workflows to improve billing efficiency, collections effectiveness, cash visibility, and control compliance. Contribute to ad hoc projects and broader initiatives across the global accounting and finance organization. Requirements of the role: The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required; a professional accounting qualification such as CPA or equivalent certification is preferred. 5+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, credit and collections, billing, or a related finance function, including experience in a management or supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of accounts receivable operations, customer invoicing, cash application, collections strategy, reconciliations, dispute resolution, month-end close, and internal controls. Advanced proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite; experience with Oracle, Salesforce, or comparable ERP and customer relationship management systems is preferred. Experience operating in a multi-entity, multi-currency, or international environment is preferred.
