Moreover, the team ensures the development, maintenance and evolution of operational software for airlines on-ground and in-flight performance computations The internship will take place within the scope of continuous improvement of our in-house developed performance software (TRAJ) to allow performance improvement while reducing the ecological impact of both our current fleet and future aircraft. Our trajectory software is used internally to evaluate the aircraft’s capacity to safely operate in complex environments such as mountainous regions while ensuring certification and operational constraints. The objectives of the internship are to Improve the trajectory computations algorithms to follow SID (Standard Instrument Departure) and STAR (Standard Terminal Arrival Route) procedures. Analyse the separation between SID & EOSID (Engine Out SID) and their impact on safety of flight Study the integration of RNP AP (Required Navigation Performance Authorization Required) to optimise the take-off and approach trajectories. Handle discussions with the Aircraft performance, Flight operations and Avionics specialists in order to take into account their needs and constraints. This internship is designed for you Experience : Last year engineering student in aeronautics domain. Background and interest in Flight dynamics. First experience with code development.
