Job Description: Windows and Cloud Administrator\\\\r\\\\nJob Overview\\\\r\\\\nWe are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Windows and Cloud Administrator to support and enhance our hybrid infrastructure spanning on-premises and cloud environments (Azure). This role is critical to migrate and build new environment for Windows and Cloud technologies. Also maintaining operational excellence and driving innovation across our digital platforms.\\\\r\\\\nKey Responsibilities\\\\r\\\\n• Migration and build exposure for Data center and Azure Cloud environments.\\\\r\\\\n• Provide Tier 3 support for incidents and service requests across multiple data centers and environments.\\\\r\\\\n• Configure, optimize, and maintain infrastructure components including Windows Servers, Nutanix AHV, and cloud services.\\\\r\\\\n• Ensure compliance with security policies and apply patches using SCCM.\\\\r\\\\n• Troubleshoot OS and hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with stakeholders.\\\\r\\\\n• Automate routine tasks using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell).\\\\r\\\\n• Manage DNS, DHCP, file services, and permissions on file servers and NAS shares.\\\\r\\\\n• Perform health checks and hardening of Windows environments.\\\\r\\\\n• Support IIS configurations and log analysis.\\\\r\\\\n• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays.\\\\r\\\\nTechnical Skills\\\\r\\\\n• Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022)\\\\r\\\\n• VMware ESX, Nutanix AHV\\\\r\\\\n• DNS, DHCP, SCCM, IIS\\\\r\\\\n• Scripting and automation (PowerShell preferred)\\\\r\\\\n• Troubleshooting tools: Wireshark, Procmon\\\\r\\\\n• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)\\\\r\\\\nAdditional Expectations\\\\r\\\\n• Lead Proof-of-Concept initiatives and prototype new solutions.\\\\r\\\\n• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.\\\\r\\\\n• Continuously improve operational processes and evaluate emerging technologies.\\\\r\\\\n• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.\\\\r\\\\nQualifications\\\\r\\\\n• Proven experience in systems administration and infrastructure support.\\\\r\\\\n• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\\\\r\\\\n• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\\\\r\\\\n• Excellent communication and documentation skills.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n Key Responsibilities Migration and build exposure for Data center and Azure Cloud environments. • Provide Tier 3 support for incidents and service requests across multiple data centers and environments. • Configure, optimize, and maintain infrastructure components including Windows Servers, Nutanix AHV, and cloud services. • Ensure compliance with security policies and apply patches using SCCM. • Troubleshoot OS and hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with stakeholders. • Automate routine tasks using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell). • Manage DNS, DHCP, file services, and permissions on file servers and NAS shares. • Perform health checks and hardening of Windows environments. • Support IIS configurations and log analysis. • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations, including weekends and holiday Skill Requirements Hands On Experience with IaaS cloud platforms (Azure) • Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022) • VMware ESX, Nutanix AHV • DNS, DHCP, SCCM, IIS • Scripting and automation (PowerShell preferred) • Troubleshooting tools: Wireshark, Procmon Other Requirements Academy PRF Apply now Information at a Glance Why HCLTech?
