Design test cases, identify and document defects, and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure reliable, user-ready releases. Must have skills : Selenium Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing, a typical day involves thoroughly validating software solutions by executing tests aligned with specified requirements and user stories. This role includes designing detailed test cases, meticulously identifying and documenting any discrepancies or defects, and working closely with various delivery teams. The objective is to ensure that the final product is dependable and meets user expectations, contributing to smooth and successful software releases. Collaboration and attention to detail are key throughout the daily activities to maintain high standards of quality assurance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align testing activities with project timelines and deliverables. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium. - Experience in designing and executing manual test cases based on detailed requirements and user stories. - Strong ability to identify, document, and track defects effectively using test management tools. - Good understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance processes. - Excellent collaboration skills to work with delivery teams and stakeholders for seamless product releases. - Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to improve product reliability.
