Whether you’re designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or bringing leading edge products to market, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger — technology that moves the world forward. Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career. THE ROLE: AMD is seeking a commercially driven marketing leader to lead B2B marketing strategy and execution across Central Europe, with a focus on Germany, the Netherlands, and Poland. This role will be responsible for building and delivering an integrated regional marketing plan spanning both Channel and Enterprise audiences, aligned with AMD’s broader EMEA business priorities. Reporting to the EMEA B2B Marketing Lead, who sets the overall EMEA strategy, the Commercial Marketing Lead – Central Europe will translate that strategy into a clear, actionable, and measurable regional plan. This leader will be a trusted partner to Sales leadership, guide the regional marketing team, and serve as the central point of connection across AMD’s Business Units, central marketing functions, OEM teams, Global Account Managers (GAMs), partners, and agencies. This is a people-management role for a commercially focused marketer who understands how to use marketing to create demand, advance opportunities through the pipeline, and support revenue growth. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with practical delivery, strong stakeholder leadership, and rigorous performance management. THE PERSON: You will be a strategic, hands-on B2B marketer with experience in enterprise and channel or partner marketing, event execution, demand generation, and content localization. You will be an effective communicator and relationship builder who can engage with distributor and partner stakeholders and bring creative thinking to a fast-paced, multi-country environment. You will coach, manage, and develop a team of regional marketers across Channel and Enterprise disciplines, setting clear objectives, providing direction, and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture. Your ability to build and maintain effective relationships will be central to the role. You will balance strategic ownership with effective delegation and bring strong problem-solving capabilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and lead the sub-regional B2B marketing strategy and 360-degree marketing plan, covering both Enterprise and Channel marketing. • Own, allocate and manage a portion of the EMEA commercial marketing budget, tracking return on marketing investment across Channel activations and AMD-led campaigns, including their contribution to pipeline and closed-won revenue. • Translate EMEA B2B priorities into locally relevant programmes that reflect regional market dynamics, sales priorities, target accounts, customer needs and partner opportunities. • Partner closely with regional and EMEA Sales leadership to establish shared priorities, measurable objectives and a clear marketing contribution to pipeline and revenue. • Serve as the senior Marketing lead and principal regional representative, providing strategic counsel, clear direction and regular updates to senior stakeholders. • Identify commercial opportunities, market gaps and competitive risks, recommending marketing investment and action to support AMD’s growth ambitions. • Lead weekly stakeholder calls across Sales and Marketing, maintaining strong alignment, clear ownership and timely decision-making. • Ensure regional Enterprise activity creates measurable awareness, engagement, qualified leads, pipeline and opportunity progression. • Lead the sub-regional Channel marketing strategy across distributors and retailers, working closely with the OEM Marketing teams and other ecosystem partners. • Build, manage and develop the team responsible for Channel marketing programmes, ensuring activity supports AMD’s route-to-market priorities and partner growth plans. • Work closely with Channel Sales, partner teams and Business Units to develop joint go-to-market programmes, enablement activity and demand-generation initiatives. • Ensure Channel programmes are commercially focused, well-executed and measured against agreed pipeline, revenue and partner engagement outcomes. • Identify opportunities to connect Channel and Enterprise initiatives where this will improve customer reach, partner participation and regional commercial impact. • Be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: • Relevant marketing experience in the semiconductor, high-tech, or B2B technology industry; in-house experience is preferred, although agency experience supporting high-tech or semiconductor clients is also valued. • Proven channel or partner marketing experience working with distributors, systems integrators (SIs), or other ecosystem partners. • Credibility and confidence working with senior Sales leaders and influencing complex, matrixed stakeholder groups. • Experience working across Business Units, central marketing functions, partner organisations and external agencies. • Working knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals—including paid media, promotional strategy, and social media—with the ability to manage and localize digital plans across countries. • Event management experience, including large-scale industry events with on-site ownership. • Project management experience working directly with cross-functional teams and multiple external partners across geographies. • Negotiation skills sufficient to structure co-marketing agreements with distributors and partners. • Prior experience covering DACH markets is highly desirable. • Technical background or exposure to Server and Commercial Client audiences is a plus. • Excellent command of English and German (written and verbal). • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Copilot, and familiarity with generative AI tools. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. LOCATION: Munich or Cologne preferred #LI-SF1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance .
