Whether you’re designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or bringing leading edge products to market, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger — technology that moves the world forward. Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career. THE ROLE: AMD is seeking a Paralegal to support the Real Estate function within the Corporate & Securities Legal team, with a primary focus on managing matters across AMD’s global real estate portfolio. The role reports to the Director, Real Estate Legal and supports commercial leasing, real estate finance transactions, landlord-tenant matters, and related due diligence and closing activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders and outside counsel, this Paralegal helps ensure complex transactions and related legal processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements. THE PERSON: You are a highly organized, detail-oriented real estate professional with strong project-management skills and experience supporting sophisticated, document-intensive transactions. You demonstrate integrity, sound judgment, and critical thinking; communicate clearly; collaborate effectively across functions; and proactively manage multiple matters, deadlines, and stakeholders while protecting AMD’s interests. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Support attorneys in the preparation, review, organization, execution, and maintenance of documents for commercial leases, complex real estate finance transactions, and other portfolio matters. • Coordinate transaction execution and closing processes, including signature collection, closing checklists, document compilation, post-closing deliverables, and record management. • Manage real estate due diligence, including title commitments and exception documents, surveys, zoning and entitlement materials, environmental reports, organizational documents, and other property-level diligence. • Prepare, review, and track SNDAs, estoppel certificates, landlord and lender notices, consents, and other recurring lease administration documents. • Support landlord-tenant relationship matters by maintaining lease records, tracking notice and consent requirements, coordinating responses to information requests, and helping resolve routine lease administration issues. • Coordinate with outside counsel and external service providers across multiple jurisdictions as needed. • Maintain the team’s transaction pipeline and matter-management tools, tracking key dates, deadlines, responsibilities, deliverables, approvals, and action items to drive timely completion. • Organize and maintain large transaction files and document sets, including agreements, diligence materials, closing checklists, execution versions, and final closing records. • Assist with compliance, regulatory, and risk management initiatives. • Identify and implement process improvements for transaction intake, document management, status reporting, templates, and portfolio administration. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: • Substantial paralegal experience supporting sophisticated commercial real estate matters in an in-house legal department, top-tier law firm, or a combination of both. • Demonstrated experience with commercial leasing and real estate finance transactions, including SNDAs, estoppel certificates, and landlord-tenant matters. • Strong foundation in traditional real estate due diligence, including title and survey review and familiarity with zoning, land-use, and entitlement matters. • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners. • Proven ability to manage large, complex transactions and extensive document sets while maintaining accurate records and coordinating multiple parties and workstreams. • High integrity, professionalism, sound ethics, and a commitment to continuous improvement. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: • Bachelor’s degree, equivalent practical experience, or paralegal certification. LOCATION: • Austin, Texas (open to other office locations in CA) This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. #LI-GW1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance .
