Use standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to align solutions with business needs while preserving compatibility and performance. Must have skills : Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (PBI) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: In the role of a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer (With exposure of Snowflake , DBT, Modeling ) who can design, maintain, and enhance advanced analytics solutions using Power BI , Snowflake and DBT. This role involves building and maintaining interactive dashboards, optimizing data models, leveraging DBT / DAX for data preparation and automation, and managing incidents and changes to Power BI dashboards and reports to ensure reliability and continuous improvement. The role includes managing software releases and maintaining system stability to ensure seamless operation. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility and optimal performance across systems. Collaboration with different teams and continuous monitoring of application health are integral parts of daily activities. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Mush hands on DBT experience along with PBI and Snowflake - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring accuracy, usability, and performance. - Build enhancements on existing Power BI solutions to improve functionality, user experience, and performance. - Create optimized data models, implement advanced DAX calculations, and ensure scalability for large datasets. - Use Python for data wrangling, validation, and automation (Pandas, API integration). - Develop Python scripts for: - Data quality checks and performance profiling, - Automating refresh validation and reporting. - Connect to SQL Server/Snowflake using Python for batch loads and incremental updates. - Manage incidents related to Power BI dashboards and reports, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and timely resolution. - Implement changes and updates to Power BI dashboards based on incident findings, business requirements, and optimization needs. - Monitor dashboard performance and refresh schedules proactively address issues. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights. - Maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and compliance - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to enhance user experience and system efficiency. - Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI). - Power BI: Desktop, Service, advanced DAX, Power Query/M, dashboard maintenance and enhancement. - Data Warehousing: Snowflake or SQL Server experience. - Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, communication, and documentation. - Power App : Power App development. - Experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making. - Strong knowledge of data modeling, data transformation, and integration techniques within business intelligence platforms. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, system performance, and application functionality. - Familiarity with APIs and low-code platforms to extend and customize packaged or SaaS applications. - Competence in collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
