Senior Repair & Maintenance Mechanic

Job description

This senior‑level role is accountable for maintaining the reliability, safety, and peak performance of pharmaceutical production equipment by executing advanced mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fabrication‑related maintenance activities. The position performs complex troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on GMP‑regulated systems—including mixers, granulators, fluid‑bed processors, packaging lines, utilities, and facility support equipment—to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality. The Senior Maintenance Mechanic partners closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality, to align maintenance priorities with operational demands, ensuring all work is completed in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety standards. This role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, supports equipment qualifications and change controls, and provides technical guidance to junior mechanics to strengthen overall maintenance capability
