Proven track record of launching hardware products, managing carrier onboarding, or structuring handset subsidy and financing programs (e.g., installment credit, trade-in). Familiarity and established relationships within the Mexican mobile ecosystem (carriers such as Telcel, AT&T, and major national retailers/distributors). About the job Our team is at the forefront of driving the growth and success of Google's hardware across Latin America, focusing on Mexico as a pivotal market for Pixel smartphones, Pixel Watch, and Pixel Buds. We build and cultivate high-impact partnerships across telecommunications carriers, major consumer electronics retailers, and national distributors. Collaborating closely with Mexican telco leaders and key retail conglomerates, we craft and execute localized go-to-market (GTM) strategies, expand open-market and carrier distribution channels, and elevate the consumer journey for Google's hardware ecosystem. Through cross-functional alignment with product, marketing, supply chain, finance, and legal teams, we drive product adoption, commercial viability, and brand preference. We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader to secure strategic carrier/retail agreements, capitalize on market expansion opportunities, and establish Google Pixel as a leading premium smartphone choice in Mexico. As a Senior Strategic Partnership Manager, you will lead commercial and strategic engagements with key Mexican partners—specifically Tier-1 telecom operators (such as Telcel/América Móvil, AT&T Mexico) and leading omnichannel retailers (such as Liverpool, Coppel, Elektra and Mercado Libre). You will lead the end-to-end partner strategy across B2C retail, carrier postpaid/prepaid programs, and emerging B2B enterprise mobility channels. You will identify, negotiate, and execute complex joint business plans and distribution contracts. Acting as the primary commercial owner for your accounts, you will guide demand forecasting, manage commercial funding/MDF allocation, design localized promotional campaigns (e.g., Buen Fin, Hot Sale, carrier renewal cycles), and address operational hurdles. You will serve as the internal and external subject matter expert on the Mexican telecom and consumer electronics retail landscape. Responsibilities Own and expand end-to-end commercial relationships with Tier-1 carriers (e.g., Telcel, AT&T) and national retail/e-commerce partners across both Business-to-Consumer (B2C) and B2B enterprise segments. Build tailored Go-to-Market plans, including wholesale pricing architecture, margin structures, retail co-op programs, and carrier subsidy/financing models aligned with the local market. Develop and present compelling business cases, joint promotional strategies, and commercial proposals to introduce and scale Pixel smartphones, wearables, and audio products. Draft, negotiate, and execute master supply agreements, trade term contracts, and annual joint business plans (JBPs). Partner with operations and supply chain teams to oversee monthly sell-in/sell-through forecasting, channel inventory health, and product life-cycle planning and drive flagship seasonal sales initiatives tailored to the Mexican market (e.g., El Buen Fin, Hot Sale, Christmas/Reyes Magos) and monitor return-on-investment on promotional spend.
