Lead Consultant – Middleware Application Modernization Capgemini Mexico As a Lead Consultant – Middleware Application Modernization , you will play a key role in driving the transformation of legacy applications into modern, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions. You will provide technical leadership throughout the modernization journey, ensuring business-critical functionality is preserved while improving application quality, performance, and maintainability. Working closely with clients and cross-functional teams, you will help shape technical decisions, guide delivery execution, and enable successful outcomes through collaboration, innovation, and engineering excellence. Your Role Responsibilities & Scope Lead the assessment and modernization of legacy applications, helping organizations accelerate their digital transformation journey. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in both English and Spanish to translate complex challenges into practical solutions. Drive technical excellence through architecture reviews, code quality practices, testing strategies, and modernization standards. Mentor and guide development teams, fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and high-performance delivery. Influence technical direction and prioritization while balancing business objectives, risk management, and long-term sustainability. Contribute to innovative modernization initiatives that leverage emerging technologies, engineering best practices, and automation-driven approaches. Work in a global and diverse environment where curiosity, teamwork, and measurable impact are valued. Your Profile Strong expertise in application modernization, legacy system transformation, and .NET-based solution delivery. Ability to analyze complex technical environments, identify risks, and develop pragmatic remediation strategies. Leadership mindset with experience guiding technical teams, influencing decisions, and driving successful outcomes. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across business and technical audiences in English and Spanish.
