Lead smart manufacturing use cases including real-time equipment dashboards, predictive maintenance and adaptive parameter optimization, breaking industrial IoT data silos to drive continuous operational efficiency gains. 7. Own site-wide equipment electrical safety and regulatory compliance, lead intrinsic safety and energy-saving transformation projects to ensure full alignment with local rules and CommScope’s global EHS standards. Required Qualifications for Consideration 1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering fields. 2. 10+ years of hands-on experience in automation R&D, commissioning and maintenance within high-volume optical communication or precision electronics manufacturing. 3. 5+ years of proven team management track record leading 5+ member automation/equipment teams to deliver large-scale automation upgrades and new line launch projects. 4. Proficient in mainstream PLC environments (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), with solid experience in motion control debugging and C/C#/Python secondary development for on-site pain point resolution. 5. Deep familiarity with industrial automation standards and machinery safety regulations, proven experience delivering multi-million RMB automation projects with quantifiable ROI improvement. 6. Strong bilingual English communication skills for seamless cross-border collaboration with global R&D teams and international suppliers. Also, will travelling to USA/Mexico as necessary (Prefer having USA Visa) 7. Rigorous logical thinking, outstanding on-site problem-solving ability and a persistent hands-on mindset to drive all technical initiatives to full closure. You Will Excite Us If You Have: 1. Direct experience building automated production systems for fiber optic connectors, MPO assemblies or high-precision optical components and related fields. 2. Proven track record delivering industrial IoT, predictive maintenance or smart factory digital transformation projects. 3. Six Sigma Black Belt certification or holding authorized national/provincial level automation innovation patents. 4. Experience collaborating with top global automation suppliers to deliver turnkey customized solutions for high-mix, high-precision production scenarios.
