Job description

As the Engineering Lead , you will drive operational excellence and governance across the organization's digital workforce. Overseeing the production environment, you will manage incident response, optimize platform performance, and partner closely with business units to ensure intelligent, cognitive automations scale securely and deliver continuous business value with minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities •Technical Standards & Reusable Patterns: Define and enforce coding standards, reusable components, and design patterns across the automation estate. •Architecture, Development, AI & QA Integration: Align solution architecture, development, AI capabilities, and QA into one integrated delivery lifecycle. •Technical Risk & Debt: Identify, track, and remediate technical risk and technical debt before it impacts production. •Run Management: Architecture, development, AI and QA teams on technical standards, reusable patterns and release readiness (RPA, and AI Agents). •Incident & Problem Resolution:Business units, Security and IT Operations on engineering capacity, technical risk, debt and production run performance •SLA & Performance Tracking: Define, monitor, and report on key operational metrics (e.g., bot utilization, success rates, ROI, business hours saved, and system downtime) using dashboards (e.g., Power BI, UiPath Orchestrator & Insights). •Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Define and maintain DR plans for critical automation processes to ensure continuous business operations. •Licensing, Cost & Resource Optimization: Optimize platform licensing (UiPath), infrastructure costs (VMs, API calls, LLM token usage), and cost efficiency and performance of AWS-hosted VMs. •Credential & Secret Management: Ensure secure handling of business credentials, API keys, and service accounts using tools like Azure Key Vault. •Engineering Capacity & Capability: Build, size, and develop the engineering team, managing skills, capacity planning, and workload allocation. •Release Integrity: Safeguard release quality through controlled deployments, environment governance, and CI/CD gates. Skill Requirements •Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related •Ops Frameworks (ITIL Processes) •Cloud & Infrastructure •CI/CD & DevOps: Experience setting up or maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automations. •Experience in development using RPA solution Other Requirements •Leadership and strategy •Adaptability and resilience •Analytical and organizational •Communication and stakeholder management • Multi-cultural environment • English: fluent •UiPath Certification •ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or Practitioner.
