Accounting professional with 4-6 years of experience in financial reporting, month-end closing, accruals, inventory accounting, and audits. Skilled in SAP/ERP systems, process improvement, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while working closely with finance teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead E2E service delivery for accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established standards. Manage month-end-close activities to ensure the timely and accurate closure of books. Prepare and review accounting accruals, including inventory, operating expenses, and payroll-related items. Prepare and coordinate statutory audit schedules and respond to audit queries for assigned areas. Lead and support in process standardization, centralization and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with local finance teams to resolve day-to-day operational and accounting issues. Prepare inventory accruals including Expiry and Expected obsolescent (EEO), Scrap, Transfer pricing etc. Build strong quality checks in internal controls to strengthen process accuracy. Qualifications and Experience: Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant with 4–5 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a semi-qualified CA or CMA/ICWA with 5–6 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of accounting gaap (Preferably USGAAP/IFRS), financial reporting, and close processes. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. At least 2 years of hands-on experience with a major ERP or financial system, such as SAP or Hyperion. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to perform effectively under pressure. Analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy, urgency, and meeting deadlines. Collaborative team player with the flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as required.
