Job description
Molex is seeking a Data & AI Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Data & AI solutions built with business partners across the enterprise. This role owns business relationships, serves as the product owner for high-value Data & AI projects from discovery through measurable results, and acts as the single point of contact for the Applied AI team’s full portfolio of work—providing visibility into demand, priorities, capacity, and resourcing needs. You will work with business leaders before any solution is chosen. You'll learn their goals and problems, question requests that start with a solution, estimate value, and find the best path forward, even when AI isn't the answer. You will turn the strongest opportunities into well-defined projects, help lead the teams that deliver them—and develop alongside them using coding agents when required—and make sure each solution has measurable business impact. Finance is one of the role's key partnerships. You will help Finance teams find and deliver AI solutions that improve forecasting, planning, reporting, analysis, and decision-making. You will apply the same approach to business partners across Molex. Our Team Molex is a leading provider of electronic solutions, committed to innovation and excellence. Our Applied AI team partners deeply with business units and functions to deliver custom AI solutions with measurable value. We work as partners, not ticket takers. We focus on solving the right problems, delivering results the business can see, and building AI skills within the teams we work with. Join us and help shape how a global manufacturer puts AI to work! What You Will Do Own the relationships with your assigned business partners. Serve as their primary point of contact for AI opportunities, priorities, and delivery. Work with business leaders to frame problems before choosing solutions, estimate value, and decide whether AI, automation, analytics, or another approach is the right fit. Act as the Data & AI product partner for Finance. Find and prioritize use cases such as forecasting, planning, variance analysis, close and reporting support, cost and profitability insights, and other financial decisions. Guide opportunities from idea through validated value case to sponsored, resourced projects. Keep a transparent, ranked list of work that you review regularly with business stakeholders. Own the product vision and roadmap for your portfolio of bespoke AI solutions. Balance business value, user needs, feasibility, and strategic priorities. Build and prioritize the product backlog. Turn business requirements, user feedback, and strategic goals into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Lead cross-functional delivery teams of data scientists, AI engineers, and business subject matter experts as they design, prototype, validate, and release AI solutions. Secure executive sponsorship, business resourcing, and access to the data each project needs before work starts. Plan clean handoffs so business teams can own, run, and extend solutions after launch. Help business teams build their own AI skills by including their people in delivery teams and supporting AI adoption in their areas. Take part in agile product delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, regular demos, stakeholder reviews, and release communications. Define and track KPIs and value realization frameworks. Measure business value delivered, time from project selection to validated result, user adoption, and successful handoffs. Communicate project outcomes, roadmap progress, and investment priorities to business and executive stakeholders, including Finance leadership. Serve as the central point of contact for the team’s portfolio. Partner across Data and AI to continuously improve demand management and automate monitoring of workflows, bottlenecks, information gaps, and resource capacity. Use these insights to enable timely prioritization and staffing decisions across data, AI, and integrations portfolios. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in product management, digital transformation, analytics, business consulting, or related roles. Experience developing and delivering functioning software, especially using coding agents. Experience delivering data, analytics, AI, or digital solutions in partnership with business stakeholders. Strong understanding of how AI and data can be used to solve business problems and create measurable value. Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams to deliver solutions from concept through adoption. Demonstrated analytical skills, with experience building business cases, value estimates, metrics, and executive-level communications. Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust, challenge assumptions, influence decisions, and drive alignment across organizational boundaries. Experience managing competing priorities and multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. What Will Put You Ahead Experience delivering AI or analytics solutions for Finance functions such as FP&A, accounting, controllership, treasury, or cost management. Hands-on experience with generative AI, machine learning, AI agents, or intelligent automation solutions. Experience in a consulting, business partnering, or account-management role with internal or external clients. Experience working with business data in systems such as SAP, Snowflake, Power BI, or Salesforce. Experience in B2B manufacturing, electronics, distribution, or industrial technology environments. Knowledge of Agile product management practices and software delivery methods. Experience building adoption, value realization, and ROI frameworks for AI or digital solutions.
