The role establishes account priorities, identifies whitespace, qualifies customer-backed opportunities, and drives disciplined execution from discovery through commercial approval and handoff. Working through Team Selling, the role aligns Global Account leadership, APS sales, MBM, and product, engineering, operations, quality, manufacturing, Finance, supply-chain, and broader Phillips-Medisize and Molex teams around one coordinated account strategy. Success requires end-to-end ownership, entrepreneurship, accurate Salesforce and forecast management, and measurable delivery of qualified pipeline, RFQs, design wins, profitable growth, and portfolio expansion. What You Will Do APS MedTech Account Planning • Establish and maintain the APS MedTech Account Plan, ranking Global All-In accounts with an APS presence and selected target customers by existing business, APS footprint, strategic fit, whitespace, access, opportunity maturity, competitive position, capability fit, and expected impact. • Align account objectives, resource priorities, owners, actions, and review milestones with Global Account leadership and APS account teams. • Review and update priorities when customer evidence or business priorities change. Opportunity Qualification and Account Expansion • Build a qualified pipeline across agreed MedTech applications, including cardiovascular care, electrophysiology and ablation, intravascular imaging, continuous glucose monitoring and diabetes-management devices, patient monitoring and connected medical wearables, automated and wearable defibrillation, and robotic and minimally invasive surgical systems. • Confirm the customer problem, sponsor, program context, competitive alternative, strategic fit, estimated value, customer-backed timing, decision path, next proof point, and conversion criteria; advance opportunities only when evidence supports continued investment. • Maintain expansion plans that broaden selected accounts beyond a single product, program, site, or business unit and deliver broader access, stronger relationships, share-of-wallet growth, RFQs, design wins, and customer-backed programs. Customer Engagement and Solution Positioning • Lead customer discovery to define the application, product and technical requirements, development scope, volume, target pricing, quality and regulatory requirements, program timing, and customer-validation needs. • Connect qualified needs with Phillips-Medisize and Molex development, engineering, manufacturing, electronics, plastics and molding, connectivity, assembly, supply-chain, and integrated product capabilities. • Formulate the value proposition and coordinate technical data, preliminary concepts, samples, and follow-up actions with the relevant cross-functional teams. Commercialization, Go/No-Go, and Replication • Partner with product management, engineering, operations, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, Finance, MBM, and global sales to assess technical and commercial feasibility. • Lead Go/No-Go preparation, RFQ response, approved quotation development, business-case approval, and controlled transition to project execution, including value, margin, investment, resources, capacity, risks, decision criteria, and handoff. • Capture successful account solutions and, with Global Account leadership and APS sales, replicate proven approaches across relevant APS sites, programs, and business units. Commercial Discipline, Team Selling, and Ownership • Maintain accurate, timely Salesforce data for opportunity value, stage, probability, estimated win date, production timing, forecast, next actions, and customer-backed assumptions. • Align pricing, margin, capacity, investment, resources, and timing with MBM and relevant Finance, Operations, and Global Account stakeholders before forecast or management reporting; do not treat early interest, samples, or unconfirmed volume as qualified forecast. • Lead one coordinated Team Selling approach, take end-to-end ownership from account planning through execution handoff, and act entrepreneurially to identify whitespace, shape opportunities, mobilize resources, remove barriers, and deliver measurable outcomes. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; engineering background preferred. • Minimum 5 years of business development or account-management experience within the medical-device or a related industry. • Proven track record in strategic-account development and cross-functional business development across APS or comparable Asia markets. • Strong customer-facing, presentation, negotiation, and value-selling skills. • Ability to translate customer and product requirements into clear commercial opportunities and coordinate internal resources accordingly. • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese. What Will Put You Ahead • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or a related engineering discipline. • Experience with medical CDMO, plastics, electronics, connectivity, or integrated device manufacturing. • Established network within Global All-In, strategic, or target medical-device accounts across APS. • Experience working with multinational customers, regional manufacturing sites, and global cross-functional teams. • Strong understanding of the APS medical-device ecosystem, product-development lifecycle, quality expectations, localization needs, and supply chain. Key Success Factors • Strategic account thinking with strong execution discipline. • End-to-end ownership, entrepreneurship, and consistent follow-through. • Ability to identify whitespace, shape opportunities, challenge assumptions, and mobilize resources without waiting for formal authority. • Strong Team Selling, value selling, negotiation, and influence across complex customer and internal organizations. • Strong cultural awareness and collaboration skills across APS and global teams. • Data-driven judgment, including evidence-based qualification, realistic pipeline valuation, forecast accuracy, and prioritization.
