Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM About this role: Member of a team whose overall responsibility is to accomplish the fabrication of quality products within the constraints of Boston Scientific, FDA, and ISO 9001’s and other Quality Systems. Supports production goals and implementation of Quality Objectives as established annually by senior management. Work Mode At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. VISA Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time Your responsibilities will include: Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area supported. Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented. Receives fabrication training/instruction and becomes thoroughly familiar with the ISO 9001s. Receives training/instruction on the use, handling, and disposal of chemicals and other toxic substances, as well as safety procedures. Must follow precise procedure for entering and leaving controlled environments. Fabricates and assembles medical device parts and components following ISO 9001s and Company procedures using a variety of hand tools, microscopes, measuring devices, and specialty or standard equipment. Specific functions may include but are not limited to: Assembling, Bonding, Soldering, Sorting, Inspection, Trimming, Mixing and measuring chemicals, Packaging, Equipment/Machine operation, Injection molding press operation, Laser ablation equipment, Cable winding equipment, Centerless grinding. Visually inspect completed work in accordance with defined policy and segregates acceptable from rejected product. Documents all processes and work performed following prescribed standards and procedures. Assists with physical inventory as required. Performs periodic cycle counts and maintains accurate inventory of raw materials and components.
