Must-have Skills Data engineering and development experience or experience in a related role. Experience in SQL and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Knowledge of Big Data and NoSQL design and development across a variety of data stores, including document, column-family, and graph databases. Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational and non-relational databases. Knowledge of XML/JSON, schema development and reuse, relational database management systems, and open-source technologies. Experience in database development and support for online transaction processing and/or online analytical processing systems. Experience in performance tuning of SQL queries. Other Requirements Nice-to-have Skills Experience in designing and developing across one or more database management systems, including HBase, Hive, GCP tools, NoSQL, Bigtable, and BigQuery, as appropriate. Knowledge of database management system products and ecosystems, including storage formats, access algorithms, data management processes, administration, data maintenance, replication, high availability, and encryption. Knowledge of data modeling tools such as ER/Studio and erwin. Experience in software delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Agile XP, Test-Driven Development, and Waterfall.
