PRAGATI- Job Description (JD) – MS Dynamics AX 2009 Consultant Role: MS Dynamics AX 2009 Consultant Band: E2.2 Location: India (Offshore) Experience: 8+ Years Technology: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced MS Dynamics AX 2009 Consultant with 8+ years of expertise in implementing, supporting, customizing, and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics AX solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional and technical knowledge of AX 2009 and have experience working directly with business stakeholders to deliver effective ERP solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, customize, and support Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 applications. • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical and functional solutions. • Develop and maintain AX customizations using X++, MorphX, AOT, and related technologies. • Support integrations between Dynamics AX and external applications. • Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues in production and non-production environments. • Perform system enhancements, upgrades, patches, and data migration activities. • Create technical design documents, functional specifications, and support documentation. • Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and cross-functional teams. • Provide production support and participate in incident, problem, and change management activities. • Ensure adherence to development standards, governance, and best practices. Required Skills • 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX development and support. • Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. • Hands-on experience with X++ development, MorphX, AOT, Forms, Reports, Classes, and Queries. • Experience in AX modules such as Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, and Supply Chain. • Knowledge of SSRS reporting and AX integrations. • Experience in data migration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. • Strong understanding of ERP business processes. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with Dynamics AX upgrades/migrations. • Exposure to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. • Experience working in global delivery and offshore support models. • Knowledge of SQL Server and reporting solutions. Educational Qualification • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Soft Skills • Strong stakeholder management skills. • Effective verbal and written communication. • Ability to work independently and within distributed teams. • Strong customer focus and commitment to quality delivery.
