Job description

Your Job Rushmore Labs is seeking a Senior Quantitative Analyst to leverage disparate and diverse sets of data into insights that shapes decisions for our senior leadership and clients. You will sit at the center of our Survey Research and Data Science teams, combining consumer survey data with internal and external data sources to answer the questions that matter most to our commercial customers. This is a senior individual-contributor role with real decision rights. You will scope the analytical questions, decide which data and methods best answer them, and deliver findings that leaders and clients act on. Rushmore Labs, a Koch company, turns large-scale consumer and population data into analytics, insights, and audience products for commercial customers. Our Team Our Survey Research team interviews hundreds of thousands of U.S. adults each year on consumer behavior, macroeconomic, and societal topics, including a daily national consumer tracking survey. Our Data Science team builds the models and forecasts that sit on top of that data, alongside our proprietary consumer, population, and supply-chain data assets. Both teams support a wide variety of customer needs across Rushmore Labs, i360 , and other Koch companies. This role will work across each group, and alongside our product, client services, and sales teams to connect these assets and translate them into clear recommendations for internal leaders and external clients. This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. What You Will Do Analyze survey research and multi-source datasets to deliver meaningful, actionable insights for leaders and clients. Identify and integrate internal and external data sources, including consumer, demographic, economic, supply-chain, and third-party data. Apply advanced statistical methods, including weighting, significance testing, regression, segmentation, and trend analysis. Define analytical approaches for complex or ambiguous business questions, establishing hypotheses, data requirements, methodology, and deliverables. Lead methodological decisions around data integration, weighting, validation, analytical rigor, and quality standards. Partner across Survey Research, Data Science, product, and client-facing teams to align methodology, scope, priorities, and timing. Synthesize complex analyses into clear insights, recommendations, presentations, briefs, and dashboards for senior leadership and clients. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 5+ years of experience in data analysis, survey research, market research, or a related quantitative field. Hands-on experience analyzing survey data, including weighting, significance testing, and working with complex sample designs. Demonstrated success in R or Python for statistical analysis, and SQL for querying large relational databases (millions of records). Experience combining data from multiple sources to answer a single business or research question. A track record of creating presentations or reports that influenced decisions by senior leaders or clients. Experience leading analytical projects across multiple teams, including setting the approach and managing timelines. What Will Put You Ahead Bachelor's or Master's degree in statistics, survey methodology, economics, political science, data science, or a related field. Experience at a market research agency, consulting firm, or in-house consumer insights team. Experience working with consumer data, alternative data, or public data sources (e.g., Census / ACS, BLS). Experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or R Shiny. Experience with git and the AWS suite (e.g., S3, Batch, Lambda). Interest in applying AI tools to survey analysis, such as synthetic respondents or automated reporting. For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000- $170,000 per year.
