Job description

About the Team OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. The Creative Partnerships team supports that mission by building trusted relationships with creators, experts, and organizations to help them explore valuable uses of AI. We work across OpenAI to develop partnerships grounded in trust, usefulness, and measurable impact. Our work goes beyond individual launches and includes product education, partner feedback, and collaborative programs that create lasting value for partners and OpenAI. About the Role We’re looking for an experienced partnerships leader to develop and scale high-touch onboarding and enablement experiences for creators, brands and institutions. You will help partners move from initial curiosity to meaningful, hands-on use of OpenAI’s products. This includes understanding their work and ambitions, designing tailored onboarding experiences, helping them develop authentic use cases, and ensuring they have the support needed to engage confidently over time. You will serve as a trusted bridge between external partners and teams across OpenAI. You’ll translate product capabilities into relevant creative possibilities, bring actionable feedback and cultural insights back to the company, and develop an operating model that combines highly personalized support with the systems needed to scale. In this role, you will: - Define the strategy, partner journey, operating model, and quality bar for high-touch onboarding, creating clear pathways from introduction and education to experimentation, adoption, and long-term engagement. - Design and lead tailored onboarding sessions, workshops, product demonstrations, and ongoing enablement that help creators, brands, institutions and their teams apply OpenAI’s products to their work. - Learn how each partner works and develop authentic use cases aligned with their creative goals, audiences, and values, helping turn early experimentation into compelling examples of creativity, expression, and connection. - Serve as a consistent, trusted point of contact for partners and their representatives, anticipating needs, resolving challenges, and providing thoughtful support with discretion, care, and sound judgment. - Partner with internal teams to explore broader collaborations where there is strong mutual value and authentic alignment. - Bring actionable product feedback, emerging behaviors, creative workflows, and cultural insights to Product, Research, Marketing, Communications, Policy, and other teams. Help stakeholders understand partner needs and identify recurring opportunities or friction points that could inform product development and company strategy. - Create feedback loops that show partners how their perspectives are heard and acted upon. - Develop playbooks, enablement materials, partner briefs, follow-up plans, escalation paths, and reusable resources that balance personalized engagement with repeatable systems. - Establish clear ownership and handoffs across Partnerships, Product, Marketing, Communications, Legal, Policy, and Support as the program scales. - Define and track meaningful measures of success, including partner engagement, time to activation, depth of use, relationship health, actionable product feedback, and partnership outcomes. Use qualitative and quantitative insights to improve, expand, and scale the program. You might thrive in this role if you: - Have 10+ years of experience in creator or talent partnerships, strategic partnerships, platform partnerships, product enablement, client services, or another highly relationship-driven field. - Have experience supporting creators, brands, or other high-profile partners and their representatives. - Build exceptional relationships through the judgment, discretion, and responsiveness required to earn trust over time. - Bring strong cultural fluency and a nuanced understanding of how creators, talent, platforms, and communities influence one another. - Translate complex or emerging technology into clear, relevant, and inspiring possibilities for non-technical audiences. - Develop authentic use cases around a partner’s real goals rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. - Align cross-functional stakeholders, manage dependencies, and create clarity in ambiguous environments. - Communicate and facilitate effectively, whether leading intimate working sessions or engaging senior and high-profile audiences. - Bring hands-on fluency with AI products and curiosity about how they can support creative work, expression, and connection. - Have strong program-management discipline, including experience developing workflows, standards, measurement, and scalable resources. - Move comfortably between highly personalized partner engagement and the behind-the-scenes operational work required to deliver it well. - Take a thoughtful, data-informed approach and distinguish surface-level engagement
