An MIS Manager / Reports Manager is responsible for delivering data-driven insights through advanced reporting, trend analysis, and effective utilization of reporting tools and systems . The role focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful information that supports operational efficiency, strategic decision-making, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Trend Identification Collect, validate, and consolidate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency. Perform trend analysis to identify patterns, gaps, and performance drivers across operations. Generate insights on key metrics (e.g., productivity, SLA performance, absenteeism, utilization) and highlight risks and opportunities. Reporting & Insights Delivery Develop and maintain automated, standardized, and ad hoc reports for operational and leadership teams. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support business decisions. Proactively identify variances and provide root cause analysis with recommended actions. Dashboard & Visualization Management Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using tools such as Excel and Power BI. Ensure dashboards reflect real-time or near real-time performance and enable trend monitoring. Continuously enhance reporting visuals to improve usability and stakeholder experience. Tool Utilization & Optimization Maximize the use of reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Salesforce, Oracle, Amazon Connect ) to improve efficiency and accuracy. Drive automation initiatives (e.g., Power Query, macros, integrations) to reduce manual effort. Ensure proper data structure, governance, and system alignment across reporting platforms. Process Improvement & Compliance Identify opportunities for process optimization through data analysis and reporting enhancements. Ensure adherence to reporting standards, data governance policies, and audit requirements. Support initiatives that improve data quality, reporting turnaround time, and reliability. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with Operations, Workforce, and Leadership teams to understand reporting needs. Present findings, trends, and insights in a clear and structured manner. Act as a trusted advisor by providing data-backed recommendations. BPO-Specific Focus Areas SLA & KPI Management: Monitor and analyze performance against SLAs and KPIs, identifying trends and drivers of success/failure. Resource & Utilization Analysis: Track staffing, productivity, and utilization trends to support workforce planning. Cost & Efficiency Tracking: Analyze cost drivers and recommend improvements aligned with budget targets. Continuous Improvement: Leverage data insights to recommend operational and process enhancements. Skill Requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on trend interpretation and insight generation Proven experience in reporting, data analysis, or MIS roles Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, Power Query, automation) and/or Power BI Experience with enterprise tools such as Salesforce, Oracle, Amazon Connect is highly preferred Ability to manage large datasets and multiple reporting requirements with accuracy Strong communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to stakeholders Detail-oriented with a commitment to data integrity and reporting quality Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Other Requirements BPO-Specific Focus Areas SLA & KPI Management: Monitor and analyze performance against SLAs and KPIs, identifying trends and drivers of success/failure.
