Senior Project Manager

Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale SAP transformation, implementation, migration, rollout, and support programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, project governance, risk management, and ensuring successful execution of SAP initiatives within scope, schedule, budget, and quality parameters. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, migration, upgrade, and support projects. Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocation strategies, and delivery roadmaps. Drive project governance, status reporting, and executive-level communications. Manage project scope, timelines, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests. Coordinate with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical teams, vendors, and third-party partners. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Conduct steering committee meetings and provide regular updates to senior leadership. Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria. Oversee SIT, UAT, cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support. Ensure effective resource planning and utilization across offshore delivery teams. Monitor project financials, effort tracking, and budget adherence. Manage escalations and drive issue resolution to ensure successful project delivery. Support SAP S/4HANA transformation programs and digital modernization initiatives. Establish project governance frameworks and PMO best practices. Mentor project managers, team leads, and project coordinators. Required Skills & Experience SAP Delivery Management 15+ years of overall IT experience with extensive SAP project management expertise. Experience managing multiple end-to-end SAP implementation and transformation projects. Proven track record of delivering large and complex SAP programs. Strong understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. SAP Functional Exposure Good understanding of key SAP modules including: SAP FI/CO SAP MM SAP SD SAP PP SAP WM/EWM SAP PM SAP QM SAP SuccessFactors (preferred) Project Management Expertise Project Planning and Execution Project Governance and PMO Budget and Cost Management Vendor Management Resource Management Risk and Issue Management Stakeholder Management Change Management Quality Assurance Release and Cutover Management Methodology Experience SAP Activate Methodology Agile/Scrum Delivery Waterfall Project Management Hybrid Delivery Models Preferred Qualifications PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred.
