Job description
As Senior PAT Solution Integration Lead, you will help turn scientific models into robust solutions that work reliably in production. You will connect model development, process engineering, automation and manufacturing execution, guiding Process Analytical Technology (PAT) solutions from requirements through deployment and operational support. Your expertise will help establish consistent technical standards while ensuring solutions are operationally sound, compliant with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and ready for production. What you’ll bring You combine strong industrial automation experience with the ability to translate complex scientific and process requirements into practical engineering solutions. Just as importantly, you can create clarity across technical disciplines and influence decisions without direct authority. A degree in automation, electrical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering, another relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Substantial hands-on experience integrating, commissioning and supporting industrial automation within production environments. Experience with Process Analytical Technology systems and synTQ or comparable platforms. Experience in technical project delivery, troubleshooting, supplier coordination and technical documentation. Working knowledge of industrial controls, automated equipment, data integrity, GMP requirements and validation activities. Structured problem-solving skills, sound technical judgement and the ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to stakeholders. What you’ll do Translate model requirements from Manufacturing Science and Technology teams into engineering-ready solutions, defining interfaces such as historian tags, OPC endpoints, synTQ items and automation integration requirements. Guide PAT implementation strategies and establish application standards that can support effective and consistent deployment across projects. Coordinate automation, orchestration, Manufacturing Execution System integration, process and operations activities so that PAT solutions are ready for successful deployment. Prepare operational teams for new implementations through training, procedures and readiness assessments, and provide hands-on support during go-live, system modifications and critical production troubleshooting. Establish operational best practices, troubleshooting guidance, data-integrity frameworks, GMP compliance protocols and validation strategies. Monitor the operational performance of PAT systems, identify opportunities for improvement and apply lessons from deployment and production support to future implementations. Who you’ll work with You will work as an individual contributor and report to Director, Laboratory & PAT Solutions. You will act as a central PAT advisor, bringing together colleagues from Line of Business teams, Manufacturing Science and Technology and model development, process engineering, automation, orchestration, Manufacturing Execution System integration, production, operations and Quality Assurance. You will also collaborate with PAT and automation equipment and software suppliers, systems integrators, service providers and contractors. Your role is to create alignment through technical expertise and cross-functional coordination rather than direct line-management authority. What you can expect here This is an opportunity to work where scientific innovation meets real-world production. You will have the scope to influence how PAT solutions are implemented, operated and improved, while building standards and practical knowledge that can be applied to future projects. You will work across disciplines, helping teams translate complex requirements into solutions that can operate reliably in a regulated production environment. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to engineering, operations and Quality Assurance impact assessments and to strengthen knowledge transfer across operational teams. Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600.00 to 1,091,600.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience. Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
