This position reports to: Country HR Manager MY, Local HRBP MY & SG, Regional HR Asia Motion __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement people strategy through the execution of HR processes. Each day, you will provide HR support for a defined team or location, by partnering with respective managers. You will also showcase your expertise by representing HR in the business and establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion Business based at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for: Ensuring effective overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with HR functions and Shared Services. Supporting the business and execution of HR processes across the end-to-end employee lifecycle by determining and delivering best practices and executing HR priorities while adding values to the business. Partnering with operations/Business managers to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives.·       Facilitating change management initiatives and driving behavior change and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Supporting local HR initiatives including the MO simplification project and process optimization. Ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor legislation, ABB policies, safety standards, and integrity requirements. You will work closely with dedicated Business leaders and benefit from strong HR partnership and mentoring. Qualifications for the role Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR generalist role. Proven experience in end-to-end HR processes including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and employment regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels. Fluency in English and Malay (both spoken and written). Advanced proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrix environment and manage multiple priorities. What's in it for you?
