The Opportunity For our Core Diagnostics Department we are currently looking for an engineer to join our service team in Greece as a Technical Service Specialist via a contractors agreement. This will be a field-based role requiring regular travelling within Athens, Greece with occasional travels within Europe. The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing service of immunochemistry, biochemistry and hematology instruments, laboratory-oriented IT systems & laboratory track systems. What You'll do: Provide technical & service support to Abbott Diagnostics customers Schedule & perform planned maintenance activities to Abbott Diagnostics portfolio of products Perform instrument installations & deinstallations Perform customer trainings Success in the role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), Service key performance indicators, achievement, economic growth & profitability Always act as company’s ambassador by representing Abbott with the highest integrity while interacting with customers & assigned institutions Required qualifications and background: BSc/ MSc or college degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Engineering 1-2 years of experience within HealthCare IVD Industry would be considered as an asset Fluency in English, both verbal & written Very good computer skills including MS Office Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Self-driven & keeping up-to-date with new trends in the profession & industry Highly organized, resilient, with a problem-solving mindset Proactive, able to effectively manage customer needs & demonstrate customer centricity Willingness to travel on a frequent basis Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
