The Track Lead for Support & Operations plays a pivotal role in managing operational efficiencies and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position is crucial in ensuring that client SLAs are consistently met while fostering a culture of empowerment within teams. The Track Lead will leverage technical expertise in Checkpoint and Cisco ASA to enhance security operations and maintain a high standard of service delivery. We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Network Security L3 Engineer to support, manage, and optimize enterprise network security infrastructure across global environments. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for firewall, proxy, VPN, and cloud security technologies while providing advanced troubleshooting, incident management, and operational support. The role involves working closely with clients, security operations teams, and vendors to ensure secure, stable, and high-performing network security operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Optimize Security Operations By Implementing And Managing Checkpoint And Cisco Asa Configurations, Ensuring Robust Perimeter Security And Compliance With Industry Standards. 2. Lead The Support Team In Responding To Client Inquiries And Incidents, Ensuring Timely Resolution And Effective Communication Of Status And Outcomes. 3. Mentor Team Members In Best Practices For Operational Processes, Facilitating Knowledge Sharing To Enhance Team Performance And Service Delivery. 4. Drive Innovation By Identifying Areas For Improvement In Operational Workflows, Proposing Solutions That Align With Client Needs And Business Objectives. 5. Collaborate With Stakeholders To Assess Client Requirements And Develop Tailored Security Solutions That Enhance Overall Business Results And User Satisfaction. Network Security Operations Manage and support: Cisco ASA Firewalls using CSM Cisco FTD Firewalls using FMC Palo Alto Firewalls via Strata Cloud Manager (SCM) Prisma Access environments Zscaler ZIA & ZPA platforms Cisco Umbrella and Cisco WSA Proxy Configure and troubleshoot: GlobalProtect VPN IPSEC/SSL VPN technologies Proxy and secure web gateway solutions Firewall & Proxy Management Implement and maintain firewall security policies, NAT rules, and access controls. Configure and manage: URL filtering HTTPS/SSL decryption Application filtering Malware and content security policies Manage PAC files, proxy bypass mechanisms, and cloud integrations. Network Infrastructure Support Troubleshoot routing and switching technologies including: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP VLANs, STP, EtherChannel Support Cisco ASR/ISR routers and Nexus 9000 switches. Incident & Change Management Handle P1/P2 incidents and lead root cause analysis (RCA). Execute production changes following ITIL processes. Analyze logs, packet captures, and security events for troubleshooting and performance optimization. Security Monitoring & Optimization Monitor firewall, VPN, WSA, and proxy infrastructure to ensure high availability and operational efficiency. Perform firmware upgrades, hotfix deployments, and security patches. Collaborate with SOC, proxy, and firewall teams during security investigations and remediation activities. Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives within network security operations. Client & Vendor Coordination Act as L3 SME during client discussions and technical escalations. Participate in client calls, audits, and security review meetings. Coordinate with Cisco TAC and other vendors for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution. Skill Requirements 1. Strong Proficiency In Checkpoint And Cisco Asa Firewall Management And Configuration. 2. Solid Understanding Of Perimeter Security Solutions, Including Sourcefire And Ironport. 3. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And A Strong Focus On Continuous Improvement. 4. Proven Ability To Lead And Mentor Teams, Fostering A Collaborative Work Environment. Strong exposure to enterprise-scale network and security environments. Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
