Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using private and public cloud technologies driving next-generation business outcomes. Must have skills : Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current infrastructure and solutions to determine the best approach for transitioning systems to cloud environments. This role requires careful planning and execution of application and data migration strategies, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and deliver high performance. The engineer collaborates with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals, focusing on leveraging both private and public cloud technologies to support innovative and future-ready business outcomes. Continuous monitoring and adjustment of migration processes are integral to maintaining efficiency and effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and integration of applications and data. - Document migration processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. - Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration activities. - Monitor and troubleshoot migration issues to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design. - Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms and migration methodologies. - Experience with designing scalable and high-performance storage solutions. - Ability to analyze existing infrastructure and recommend appropriate cloud migration strategies. - Familiarity with data security and compliance considerations during migration. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
