Your main tasks and responsibilities Processing of post-marketing, literature and clinical safety information Entering of adverse drug reaction reports in the drug safety database Requesting further information, initiate product investigations, writing narratives Reviewing and submitting safety reports to authorities Maintaining the global drug safety DB, continuously updating safety report files Liaising with pharmacovigilance personnel (local & worldwide), with other departments and authorities Participating in local and international quality improvement activities Your expertise and ideal skill set Completed academic degree, ideally in a medical or healthcare discipline Pharmacovigilance knowledge and experience in processing/reporting case safety reports would be an advantage Fluent English skills as well as communication and presentation skills Team player with a strong focus on timelines Good level of computer literacy, in particular in the use of databases High degree of accuracy with attention to detail Excellent critical, analytical and problem solving skills Your department - where you make an impact We, the Corporate Drug Safety Unit (CDSU), are responsible for ensuring the safety of Octapharma’s products worldwide by maintaining a robust pharmacovigilance system.
