Job Title : Senior Software Engineer Job Location : Hyderabad Job Description The Software Engineer – Full Stack Developer on the NCR Voyix Insight Team is responsible for the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-scale applications supporting the Insight and SWIC platforms. Insight is a cloud-based Big Data analytics platform that delivers business intelligence, reporting, and data insights to customers using Google Cloud technologies, while SWIC is a web-based application supporting operational and business workflows. This role requires expertise in full-stack application development, cloud-native technologies, data analytics, and AI-assisted software engineering practices. Key Areas of Responsibility: 1.Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable full-stack applications supporting the Insight and SWIC platforms. 2.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Quality Engineering, Architecture, and Operations, to define requirements and deliver business solutions. 3.Mentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, promoting engineering excellence, and fostering team growth. 4.Contribute to architectural discussions, technology evaluations, and technical decisions, ensuring alignment with product and organizational strategy. 5.Participate and contribute to an effective software development lifecycle using Agile and Scrum methodologies. 6.Implement and promote software engineering best practices, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), automated testing, code quality, security, and observability. 7.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring optimal application performance, reliability, scalability, and availability. 8.Leverage AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and other intelligent engineering capabilities to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery velocity. 9.Explore, evaluate, and implement AI-driven capabilities, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics solutions across the Insight and SWIC platforms. 10.Document technical designs, architecture decisions, implementation approaches, operational procedures, and system specifications clearly and concisely. 11.Support internal and external customers by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving application and production issues. 12.Contribute to cloud deployments and operational excellence initiatives utilizing Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Apigee. Job Qualifications: Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and IAM. Experience developing and supporting Big Data analytics and reporting applications. Experience building highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud-native applications. Knowledge of Looker and LookML for data modelling, dashboard development, and analytics solutions. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Cloud builds, Terraform, & Helm. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, or similar technologies. Experience implementing automated testing frameworks and behaviors-driven development practices. Experience working in analytics, retail technology, or enterprise software domains.
