We are looking for an experienced Planon IWMS Technical-Functional Consultant to own and support the day-to-day Planon application service following go-live. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring application stability, resolving functional and technical issues, managing incidents and service requests, and supporting continuous improvement and new business requirements.The role requires strong hands-on Planon expertise combined with application management, integration troubleshooting, and Real Estate/Facility Management domain knowledge. The consultant will work closely with business users, internal Digital/engineering teams, and the Planon vendor, acting as a technical-functional lead for complex issues and enhancements Key Responsibilities Own and support day-to-day operations of the Planon IWMS application , ensuring service stability and quality.Monitor application health, operational issues, incidents, service requests, and backlog.Troubleshoot Planon configuration, workflows, application functionality, data, access/security, and integration issues .Perform root-cause analysis to determine whether issues originate within Planon, integrations, data, or upstream/downstream systems.Manage incident, problem, service request, and change management activities through resolution.Raise and manage support cases with the Planon vendor , ensuring appropriate follow-up, escalation, and closure.Support Planon configuration changes, fixes, enhancements, testing, releases, and production deployments.Investigate REST API, integration, interface, and data-flow issues across the wider application landscape.Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into appropriate Planon solutions or changes.Support continuous improvement initiatives and delivery of new requirements from the application backlog.Perform application administration activities, including configuration and access-related support.Maintain application documentation, support procedures, configurations, and knowledge articles.Provide knowledge transfer, technical guidance, and coaching to the internal Digital/application support team.Act as the technical-functional Planon lead for complex application or integration-related issues Skill Requirements Strong hands-on experience with Planon IWMS , including configuration, workflows, modules/capabilities, data structures, security, access management, and application administration.Strong understanding of the Planon solution landscape and preferably experience across both implementation and post-go-live/application support.Experience in application support and application management , including incident, problem, change, and service-request management.Ability to independently troubleshoot complex application, configuration, workflow, data, and integration issues , rather than relying solely on vendor escalation.Hands-on understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, data flows, interfaces, and integration troubleshooting .Good understanding of SQL and data concepts for investigation and troubleshooting.Understanding of cloud and integration architecture and how Planon interacts with surrounding upstream and downstream applications.Knowledge of Real Estate and/or Facility Management processes within an IWMS environment.Experience supporting testing, releases, configuration changes, defect resolution, and production deployments .Strong vendor management skills, including the ability to manage and drive Planon support cases through resolution.Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with business users, Digital/engineering teams, and third-party vendors.Ability to operate independently and take end-to-end ownership of technical and functional issues.Strong documentation, knowledge-transfer, analytical, and problem-solving skills Other Requirements Apply now Information at a Glance Why HCLTech?
