Job Title - Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Backend Developer Experience - 4 - 8 Years Location - Hyderabad / Bangalore / Noida / VJW Employment Type - Full-Time / TP Shift Requirement Candidate should be flexible to work in rotational shifts and participate in production support/on-call activities as per business needs. Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Backend Developer with strong expertise in B2C Commerce development, integrations, and backend customization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable eCommerce solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams across global locations. The role requires strong technical expertise in SFCC backend architecture, API integrations, and production support. Based on internal SFCC role templates, key skills include SFCC/B2C Commerce, Business Manager, OCAPI/SCAPI, integrations, and support activities. Key Responsibilities SFCC Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce). Develop and customize cartridges, controllers, jobs, hooks, pipelines, and business logic. Configure and manage catalogs, promotions, content assets, inventory, and site preferences. Implement reusable, scalable, and maintainable backend components. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards. API & Integration Development Develop and support integrations between SFCC and enterprise applications. Work with OCAPI, SCAPI, REST APIs, web services, and middleware platforms. Integrate SFCC with OMS, PIM, CRM, Payment Gateways, Tax Engines, Loyalty, and Marketing platforms. Troubleshoot and optimize API performance and system reliability. Production Support & Operations Provide L2/L3 production support for SFCC applications. Diagnose and resolve application, integration, and environment-related issues. Participate in release deployments and post-production validation. Support critical business events and seasonal sales periods. Work in rotational shifts and on-call support models when required. Required Skills 4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce). Strong development experience in SFCC backend/customization. Proficiency in JavaScript (Server-Side JavaScript). Strong knowledge of SFCC Business Manager. Experience with OCAPI, SCAPI, REST APIs, and web services. Experience developing integrations with external systems. Knowledge of catalog, pricing, promotions, inventory, and order management concepts. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills. Skill Requirements Good to Have Experience with MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or other integration platforms. Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification. Experience in Retail and eCommerce domain. Exposure to AWS, Node.js, or microservices architecture. Understanding of SiteGenesis and SFRA architecture. Soft Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with global teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-driven with ownership mindset. Ability to work effectively in rotational shifts and support global business operations. Other Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
